Pacira BioSciences Appoints Samit Hirawat, M.D., to Board of Directors
Pacira BioSciences, Inc. (Nasdaq:
PCRX) appointed Samit Hirawat, M.D., to its Board of Directors, expanding it from 9 to 10 members.
The appointment was effective January 27, 2026, with a public press release on January 28, 2026.
Dr. Hirawat is a veteran executive with over 25 years of experience, formerly Chief Medical Officer at Bristol Myers Squibb and roles at Novartis.
He will serve on the Board’s Science and Technology Committee and receives standard non-employee director compensation.
Dr. Hirawat holds an MBBS from Sawai Man Singh Medical College and has published over 150 peer-reviewed manuscripts.
