Bright Minds Biosciences Expands Scientific Advisory Board to Include Renowned Experts in Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS)

On November 17, 2025, Bright Minds Biosciences (NASDAQ:
DRUG) announced the appointment of four global Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) experts—Tania Markovic MBBS PhD FRACP, Jennifer L. Miller MD, Elizabeth Roof H.S.P. M.A., and Theresa V. Strong PhD—to its Scientific Advisory Board to support the company's PWS program and related clinical development.2 4 5 7

These additions coincide with the launch of the NOVA Phase 2a hyperphagia clinical trial, a randomized study lasting up to 16 weeks with an optional open-label extension phase of up to 9 months, aiming to evaluate BMB-101's utility for PWS hyperphagia and behavioral/neuropsychiatric symptoms.2 8

The company also nominated BMB-105 as a dedicated clinical candidate targeting PWS and announced the launch of the overall PWS clinical program at a key opinion leader (KOL) event on November 6, 2025.2 9

The primary endpoint of the NOVA Phase 2a trial is improvement in hyperphagia, as measured by the HQ-CT hyperphagia questionnaire scores over time.2

PWS is a rare and complex neurodevelopmental disorder that affects about 1 in 15,000 live births, characterized by insatiable hunger and neuropsychiatric difficulties.
