Mindpeak Secures First Patent for Advanced AI Method in Digital Pathology
Mindpeak has been granted its first patent for a novel AI method in digital pathology, covering how to train AI systems to recognize and classify cells in oncologic histopathological tissue diagnostics.12
The patent, titled “Method for training an artificial intelligence system for recognising and classifying cells for pathological cell and tissue examination, classifying system, computer-readable medium”, protects Mindpeak’s proprietary approach to cell recognition and classification in complex pathology images.12
The patent has been issued in 17 EU member states and additionally validated in the United Kingdom, giving it broad territorial protection in Europe.12
