Bruker Adds Diagnostics Leader Jack Phillips to Board of Directors Effective January 2026
Bruker Corporation has appointed Jack J. Phillips to its Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2026.345
Phillips is a senior healthcare and diagnostics industry executive with over 30 years of leadership experience.345
Most recently, he served as President & CEO of Accelerate Diagnostics from 2020–2025, focusing on rapid antibiotic susceptibility testing technologies.45
Previously, Phillips was President & CEO of Roche Diagnostics North America from 2010–2020, overseeing a broad diagnostics portfolio including clinical chemistry, immunodiagnostics, molecular, tissue, and point‑of‑care diagnostics.45
From 1999–2010, he was Senior VP and General Manager, North America, at Ventana Medical Systems, helping establish tissue and companion diagnostics as standards of care.45
Bruker highlights that Phillips’ experience in infectious disease and rapid antimicrobial susceptibility testing is strategically important as the company expands its specialty and infectious disease diagnostics portfolio.35
Phillips also serves on the Board of Trustees of Tucson Medical Center and previously served on the board of AdvaMedDx.45
He holds a B.S. in Marketing from Northern Kentucky University.45
