FDA Approves Bayer’s Lynkuet for Menopausal Hot Flashes

Bayer's Lynkuet (elinzanetant) has received FDA approval to treat moderate to severe hot flashes due to menopause.

It is the first non-hormonal medication approved for this purpose, blocking NK1 and NK3 receptors.

The drug has already been approved in the UK, Australia, Canada, and Switzerland, with pending approval in the EU.

Lynkuet is expected to be available in the US in November.
