Solventum Appoints Heather Knight as Chief Commercial Officer

Solventum announced the appointment of Heather Knight as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective November 10, 2025368.

This is a newly created role in which Knight will oversee global commercial and R&D operations across the company's MedSurg, Dental Solutions, and Health Information Systems segments, reporting directly to CEO Bryan Hanson31.

Heather Knight brings over 30 years of MedTech industry leadership, most recently as Chief Operating Officer at Baxter International, and has held senior roles in companies including Medtronic, Covidien, Tyco Healthcare, and Kendall31.

Knight's appointment reflects Solventum's strategy to consolidate commercial and R&D functions for better operational efficiency, coordination, and growth within the MedTech sector13.

Her expertise is expected to support Solventum’s transformation as a standalone MedTech company, particularly in areas of strategic vision, commercial discipline, AI/digital transformation, supply chain, and regulatory affairs13.

The leadership transition coincides with Chris Barry, Executive VP and Group President of MedSurg, departing Solventum at the end of 2025 with a structured handover to maintain business stability321.
