Cuts Continue as Novo Nordisk Restructuring Moves Forward

Novo Nordisk is cutting 9,000 jobs globally as part of a restructuring plan.

About 5,000 positions will be reduced in Denmark.

The restructuring aims to focus on diabetes and obesity treatment areas.

Expected annual savings are $1.25 billion by 2026.

Restructuring costs of around $1.4 billion will be incurred in Q3 2025.

The company is revising its 2025 operating profit growth outlook to 4-10%.
